Many foreign financial institutions increasingly expand their range of services with leasing and factoring offers. Herewith they have an important contribution to the necessary liquidity of the German economy and for its financing. A special subsidiary is frequently established. As a German speciality in the EU this special subsidiary is supervised by the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin).
